The affinity and binding kinetics of CPTC-ITGA11-1 and BSA-conjugated peptide “CRREPGLDPTPKVLE” were measured using biolayer interferometry. CPTC-ITGA11-1 antibody was covalently immobilized onto amine-reactive second-generation sensors (AR2G). BSA-conjugated peptide “CRR”, 1 nM, 0.25 nM, 0.0039 nM, and 000977 nM, was used as analyte. Buffer only and biosensors immobilized without antibody were used as references for background subtraction.
Result: Positive
The affinity and binding kinetics of CPTC-ITGA11-1 and BSA conjugated peptide “CRREPGLDPTPKVLE” were measured using surface plasmon resonance. CPTC-ITGA11-1 antibody was captured onto a Series S Protein A biosensor chip. BSA conjugated peptide, 1.0 nM, 0.25 nM, 0.0625 nM, 0.015625 nM, and 0.0039 nM, was used as analyte. Binding data were double-referenced and analyzed globally.
Result: Positive
Tissue Micro-Array (TMA) core of prostate cancer showing cytoplasmic and membranous staining using Antibody CPTC-ITGA11-1. Titer: 1:1000
Result: Negative
Immuno-precipitation performed using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as capture antibody against human mesenchymal stem cell (hMSC). Eluate was tested in automated western blot using the same CPTC_ITGA11-1 as detection antibody. The target protein was detected only in the whole lysate (lane hMSC – SM), and not in the IP eluate (lane hMSC – IP).
Result: Positive
Immunofluorescence staining using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against human mesenchymal stem cells. CPTC-ITGA11-1 ab shows localization in the cytoplasm (green).
Result: Positive
Indirect ELISA using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against BSA-conjugated peptide “CRREPGLDPTPKVLE”.
Result: Positive
Protein Array in which CPTC-ITGA11-1 is screened against the NCI60 cell line panel for expression. Data is normalized to a mean signal of 1.0 and standard deviation of 0.5. Color conveys over-expression level (green), basal level (blue), under-expression level (red).
Result: Positive
Automated Western Blot using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against human and mouse recombinant proteins. The antibody CPTC-ITGA11-1 specifically recognizes the human recombinant. Expected MW is 133 KDa, but ITGA11 glycosylation affects its migration.

Western Blot using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against human and mouse recombinant proteins. The antibody CPTC-ITGA11-1 specifically recognizes the human recombinant. Expected MW is 133 KDa, but ITGA11 glycosylation affects its migration.
Result: Positive
Automated Western Blot using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against cell lysate of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC), A549, HeLa and MCF7. The antibody CPTC-ITGA11-1 recognizes the target protein in hMSC and HeLa lysates. Expected MW is 133 KDa, but ITGA11 glycosylation affects its migration.
Result: Presumed Positive (with additional bands)
Western Blot using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as primary antibody against cell lysate of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC), A549, HeLa and MCF7. The antibody CPTC-ITGA11-1 presumably recognizes the target protein in hMSC A549, HeLa and MCF7 lysates. Expected MW is 133 KDa, but ITGA11 glycosylation affects its migration.
Result: Positive
Single cell western blot using CPTC-ITGA11-1 as a primary antibody against human mesenchymal stem cell lysates. ITGA11 protein expression was detected.

Antigen Name:
Integrin Subunit Alpha 11 Peptide 1
CPTC Name:
CPTC-ITGA11 Peptide 1
Aliases:
Integrin Subunit Alpha 11; HsT18964; Integrin Alpha-11; Integrin, Alpha 11
Function:
This gene encodes an alpha integrin. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein contains an I domain, is expressed in muscle tissue, dimerizes with beta 1 integrin in vitro, and appears to bind collagen in this form. Therefore, the protein may be involved in attaching muscle tissue to the extracellular matrix. Alternative transcriptional splice variants have been found for this gene, but their biological validity is not determined.ITGA11 (Integrin Subunit Alpha 11) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with ITGA11 include Brain Oligodendroglioma and Lung Cancer. Among its related pathways are MAPK Pathway and Degradation of the extracellular matrix. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include collagen binding and collagen receptor activity. An important paralog of this gene is ITGA10.
