The affinity and binding kinetics of CPTC-MINPP1-1 antibody and full length human MINPP1 recombinant protein were measured using biolayer interferometry. Recombinant protein was covalently immobilized onto AR2G biosensors using standard amine coupling. Antibody at 1024 nM, 256 nM, 64 nM, 16 nM, 4 nM, 1 nM, and 0.25 nM, was used as analyte. Buffer only and biosensors immobilized without antibody were used as references for background subtraction. No binding was observed.

Immunoprecipitation using CPTC-MINPP1-1 as capture antibody against cell lysates of MCF7, HeLa, Jurkat and HepG2. Eluates were then tested with Simple Western (automated WB) using CPTC-MINPP1-2 as detection antibody (Panel A). Antigen Name:
Multiple Inositol-Polyphosphate Phosphatase 1 Peptide 1
CPTC Name:
CPTC-MINPP1 Peptide 1
Aliases:
Multiple Inositol-Polyphosphate Phosphatase 1; MIPP; Multiple Inositol Polyphosphate Histidine Phosphatase, 1; Inositol (1,3,4,5)-Tetrakisphosphate 3-Phosphatase; Multiple Inositol Polyphosphate Phosphatase 1; 2,3-Bisphosphoglycerate 3-Phosphatase; Ins(1,3,4,5)P(4) 3-Phosphatase; 2,3-BPG Phosphatase; EC 3.1.3.62; Multiple Inositol Polyphosphate Phosphatase 2; EC 3.1.3.80; HIPER1; MINPP2; PCH16
Function:
This gene encodes multiple inositol polyphosphate phosphatase; an enzyme that removes 3-phosphate from inositol phosphate substrates. It is the only enzyme known to hydrolzye inositol pentakisphosphate and inositol hexakisphosphate. This enzyme also converts 2,3 bisphosphoglycerate (2,3-BPG) to 2-phosphoglycerate; an activity formerly thought to be exclusive to 2,3-BPG synthase/2-phosphatase (BPGM) in the Rapoport-Luebering shunt of the glycolytic pathway.MINPP1 (Multiple Inositol-Polyphosphate Phosphatase 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with MINPP1 include Thyroid Cancer, Nonmedullary, 2 and Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, Type 16. Among its related pathways are Metabolism and superpathway of D-myo-inositol (1,4,5)-trisphosphate metabolism. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include phosphatase activity and protein histidine phosphatase activity.Acts as a phosphoinositide 5- and phosphoinositide 6-phosphatase and regulates cellular levels of inositol pentakisphosphate (InsP5) and inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6). Also acts as a 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate 3-phosphatase, by mediating the dephosphorylation of 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate (2,3-BPG) to produce phospho-D-glycerate without formation of 3-phosphoglycerate. May play a role in bone development (endochondral ossification). May play a role in the transition of chondrocytes from proliferation to hypertrophy (By similarity).
