CPTC-TIPRL-1 (Flow Cytometry)

Result: Negative

Flow cytometric analysis of TIP41-like protein expression using CPTC-TIPRL-1 rabbit antibody. U251 cells were fixed, permeabilized, and then stained with CPTC-TIPRL-1 (solid green) or concentration-matched rabbit isotype control (dashed green) antibodies. HT29 cells were fixed, permeabilized, and then stained with CPTC-TIPRL-1 (solid blue) or concentration-matched rabbit isotype control (dashed blue) antibodies. A BV421 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as a secondary antibody. All data were analyzed using FlowJo.

Background

NCI Identification Number:

00444

Antigen Name:

TOR Signaling Pathway Regulator Peptide 1

CPTC Name:

CPTC-TIPRL Peptide 1

Aliases:

TOR Signaling Pathway Regulator; Putative MAPK-Activating Protein PM10; Type 2A-Interacting Protein; TIP41-Like Protein; TIPRL1; TIP41; TIP; TIP41, TOR Signaling Pathway Regulator-Like (S. Cerevisiae); TIP41, TOR Signaling Pathway Regulator-Like; DJ69E11.3; MGC3794; TIPRL

Function:

TIPRL is an inhibitory regulator of protein phosphatase-2A (PP2A) TIPRL (TOR Signaling Pathway Regulator) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with TIPRL include Alzheimer Disease 15 and Cardiomyopathy, Dilated, 1E.May be a allosteric regulator of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). Isoform 1 inhibits catalytic activity of the PP2A(D) core complex in vitro. The PP2A(C):TIPRL complex does not show phosphatase activity. Acts as negative regulator of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 4 probably by inhibiting the formation of the active PPP4C:PPP4R2 complex; the function is proposed to implicate it in DNA damage response by promoting H2AX phosphorylated on Ser-140 (gamma-H2AX). May play a role in the regulation of ATM/ATR signaling pathway controlling DNA replication and repair.
